Occasionally power systems with excessive surges and/or other power anomalies it is preferable to add external output modules to the system. Below are instructions for installation and wiring of external output modules:
Required Hardware:
Single Phase Control:
1 each 71C2447 Terminal Block
2 each GAOAC5 Output Modules
1 each G4PB4R Rack
Three Phase Control:
1 each 71C2447 Terminal Block
6 each GAOAC5 Output Modules
2 each G4PB4R Rack
Instructions:
- Mount rack(s) in an appropriate place near the control.
- Install the appropriate number of output modules in the rack(s).
- Wire per diagram below. It is recommended that twisted pair wires are used on the control wiring. Keep control wiring and field (and other power wiring) separate from the control wiring.
- Refer to MP Manual for terminal/wire locations.
