How do I configure an analog output to retransmit the displayed temperature?

I want an analog output of 4-20mA to be related to -20 to 80C on the input.

You must have the appropriate analog output board installed or you will not be able to perform these settings.

1) Enter the Configuration Mode and depending on the output location of the 4-20mA go to parameter USE1, USE2 or USE3 where 1, 2 or 3 is the output location for the linear output board that you want to configure.  Change the set value to rEtP (Retransmit PV).  Press the Auto/Man button to confirm the setting change.

2) Go to parameter tYP1, tYP2 or tYP3 where 1, 2 or 3 is the output location for the linear output board that you want to configure.  Set to the output type as desired (Example 4_20 if 4-20mA is wanted).  Press the Auto/Man button to confirm the setting change.

3) Go to parameter ro1H, ro2H or ro3H (Retransmit Range Maximum) where 1, 2 or 3 is the output location for the linear output board that you want to configure. Set the value to the display value that you want to relate to the maximum output (In your example:  80).   Press the Auto/Man button to confirm the setting change.

4) Go to parameter ro1L, ro2L or ro3L (Retransmit Range Minimum) where 1, 2 or 3 is the output location for the linear output board that you want to configure. Set the value to the display value that you want to relate to the minimum output (In your example:  -20).   Press the Auto/Man button to confirm the setting change.

5) Exit to Operator Mode.

The output should now be configured.  You will get a linear output based on the displayed temperature.  4-20mA will relate to -20 to 80C.
