Enter SETUP Mode:

(Use caution in setting parameters in the setup mode.  Some of the parameters in this section can affect control response)
1) Power control.

2) Press and hold both the UP and DOWN arrow keys at the same time.  Hold until the SET light flashes (approximately 5 seconds).

3) Release the keys and immediately press and hold the FUNCTION key until SET light is on steady (about 5 seconds).

4) Press function key.  Every press of the function key will display a different parameter.  The parameter name will be in the lower display and the parameter value will be in the upper display.  Note: A couple minutes of in activity will cause the control to leave the setup mode.

5) Press the function key several times until SPhi is displayed in the lower display.  This is the maximum temperature that you will be allowed to set the SETPOINT.  Adjust the value with the arrow keys to an appropriate value.

5) Press the function key once SPLo is displayed in the lower display.  This is the minimum temperature that you will be allowed to set the SETPOINT.  Adjust the value with the arrow keys to an appropriate value.

6) Either turn off power and on or wait a couple of minutes for the SET light to go out.

7) To change the Setpoint press the function button once.  SP will be displayed in the lower display.  The setpoint value will be displayed in the upper display.  Change the setpoint with the arrow keys.  Press the FUNCTION key to return to normal display.  Temperature of your process will display in the upper display, the setpoint will display in  the lower.  The setpoint cannot be adjusted higher than SPhi or less than SPLo.

If you have a value entered for the ramp rate (rP in setup mode) the function button can also allow you to display SPrP.   This is the ramping setpoint.  This is the actual value of the setpoint that controller is currently using to control your process.

Note:  rP is in DEGREES/HOUR.  If you want to turn of the ramp rate set rP to 10,000 and upper display will be blank.
