Voltage-squared feedback simulates power feedback. It is used to help maintain constant power delivered to the load when the input line voltage changes and the load resistance remains constant. This tends to provide greater stability with the power output if the source voltage changes. Most of our models including both Zero-Fired and Phase-Fired have similar compensation and often can provide closer control with changing power source voltages.
