In Windows 7 Commander must be run as an administrator. You can run the program in this mode by starting Commander by right clicking the Commander icon and then selecting Run as Administrator. If the computer is not currently logged in as an administrator an administrator password will need to be entered.
You can set up the program so that it will always run as an administrator by:
1) Right click on the program icon.
2) Click Properties
3) Click Compatibility
4) Select: Run this program as an administrator
5) Click Apply
You can configure Commander to run as an administrator for all users including those without administrator status by clicking on the Change settings for all users button. This will allow users not logged on as an administrator to run Commander with all functions without having to enter an administrator password.
