I can no longer enter one or more of the control modes in my P series control. I have forgotten the unlock codes. How can I gain access to the modes again?

6100+, 8100+, 4100+ Lock Code View:

This mode displays the Unlock Codes in the event that they are forgotten.

To enter this mode:

Turn off power to the instrument.

Turn power back on.

While the instrument is powering up press and hold down both and until CLoc is displayed.

If ULoc is displayed is displayed in the lower display:

Press to display the various unlock codes.

CLoc (Configuration Unlock Code)

SLoc (Setup Unlock Code)

tLoc (Automatic Tune Unlock Code)

Unlock codes are read only. Record the values and change them if desired by changing their values in the respective modes.
