Why am I unable to select the input code that I want in the configuration mode?

The instrument will only make available for selection, those input codes that match the input type as defined in the Hardware Definition code.

If you do not see the code that you want, enter Hardware Definition, and change the first digit of the code to match the type of signal that you wish to use ((1) mV, (4) V, (3) mA, (2) Thermocouple or (1) RTD). Once this is done, the input codes offered in configuration mode will change to match the new input type selection. Changes to the Hardware Definition or Input codes will cause the instrument into its default condition and all decimal points will light as a warning of this.

Note: Some West controllers and indicators require an internal jumper to be correctly set when changing the input type. Connections to the rear terminals may need to be changed.

Check the following sections in your product manual to correctly setup the input on your instrument.
